David Outevsky

As a professional ballroom dancer, David has competed at the international level, teaching and performing throughout Canada and Europe. After moving to England to pursue a BA in Anthropology, he completed an MSc Dance Science at Trinity Laban, London, where he conducted research in the fields of touch, weight bearing, and visual contact in dance. He presented his work at conferences in the UK and France and his research has been published in the Journal of Emerging Dance Scholars. David is currently pursuing his PhD in Dance Studies at York University where his research revolves around the socialist dancing body.
